Movie Mistakes
Movies have lots of mistakes. I never realized how many there are and I think it's sad that people would not have lives to the point where they watch movies that closely and write about them!

Sexting
This stuff happens all the time. It is weird to have such a harsh punishment for teens because once you are 18 you can take and send pictures of whatever you want. I feel bad for the girl but she was really dumb for sending a picture to someone she had barely been dating.

Camera Angle Video
I like how they conducted the interviews with the equipment moving cars and stuff in the backround! I thought that this was very cool and really made the video look alot simpler than it was to make. I don't really see how they could force somebody to do exercise as part of work especially then the people at that work place are not overweight.

Broadcast Journalism Story #1

Broadcast Journalism Story
Topic: Eastview Varsity Basketball Playoff Run!
Angle: Fans shout opinions!
B-Roll MATT’S VOICEOVER, VIEW OF BASKETBALL COURT AND PLAYERS PRACTICING CLAIRE GRIMM MATT’S STANDUP JOE S MATT’S STANDUP #2 DEREK S CUT BACK TO PRACTICE AGAIN, MATT’S VOICE | A-Roll Well another basketball season means another shot at state for our boys in blue and black. The Eastview lightning blew away the Wolfpack last night 80-19 and the hopes for the playoffs are high. “Wait… are they in the playoffs? Right now? Umm I think they’ll go to state… we’re supposed to go to state right? Yeah they’ll go to state! But I don’t know how far hasn’t Hopkins won state the past like four years?” –Claire Grimm (Game Attendee) There are many obstacles in the way of becoming state champions but as you can see our fans are pretty convinced that we have what it takes. “We’re going to go all the way, I have faith that they’ll step up their game and win the whole thing. I will be there cheering my heart out. Yeah we got it we’re winning state.” -Joe S (Sophomore Player) But why do they think this way? Does every fan have their heads in the clouds, or does Eastview actually have a chance at state? “I think we could go to state, I mean we got all the keys we just got to learn how to use them. Well we have good players at every position, good depth and pretty good year so far. Yeah that’s it.” –Derek S (Fan) That’s it is right; Good luck boys! |
Man + Goose
I think it's weird... I mean it's cute and all if they were friends but the news anchor desribe them as lovers, or in love. That is just messed up! A man and a goose cannot be in love, just friends.

The Kids Movie Rango could get R Rating
The movie Rango intended for kids might get an R rating because characters smoke cigerettes and cigars in the movie. I think the people rating this are idiots and crybabys. I understand a character in a movie smoking that a little child may idleize may also lead to him/her idleizing cigerettes as well but this is where parents need to step in. R rated movies mean 17+ and I really can't think of any 17 year olds I know of that would enjoy Rango.. These raters need to put the moviemakers pay and the success of this movie in mind as well...

Libia
--Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi has lost legitmacy to lead and now.. must leave! Obama and his administration are trying to get him out at all costs. He is referred to as a "Mad Dog" he is using air power to strike rebel forces. The pentagon confirmed that there have been air strikes droppd in Libia. There could be a civil war breaking out in which case the united states should just let them figure it out... The United States might enforce a no flying zone over Libia.

This article sums up what is going on in Wisconsin. People are comparing it to the protesting in Cairo. I think that they are just a big bunch of babies.. I'm not totally educated on the subject but from what it sounds like it's really not that big of a deal, they will still make money, they will still eat tonight, they still have warm homes I don't understand the need to protest.. Well I obviously have some learning to do because I got 13/30 on this test. I didn't really get this stuff.

Egypt military takes charge, promises to meet demands of protesters seeking Mubarak ouster
CAIRO - Egypt's military announced on national television it had stepped in to secure the country and promised protesters calling for President Hosni Mubarak's ouster that all their demands would soon be met. Mubarak planned a speech to the nation Thursday night, raising expectations he would step down or transfer his powers.

Volkswagen; Darth Vader Kid is voted #1 superbowl AD
This commercial is about a young child, and his/her (most likely his) dark vader costume. The boy obviously has a huge immagination. He tries to move various things around his house with the "force." The force is the power Darth Vader has in the star wars movies to move objects without actually picking them up. This ad begins with the boy walking down a hallway, it then cuts to him inside of a laundry room trying to move the dryer. He then tries to move his dog, and then a doll. His Dad then drives home and gets out of a volkswagen, the boy stands in front of it and tries to move it as his Dad walks inside. His Dad smiles and presses the remote start. The child is so surprised because he thinks that he started the car using the "force." This commerical is cute and the target audience is car purchasers that are fond of kids or have kids.

Why are reporters being attacked?
American and other ethnicities of reporters are being attacked in Cairo, Egypt to send a message to stay out. Journalists from every country in the world at being beaten, detained and even jumped. The vice president of Egypt states that the reports are contribuating to the problem and need to stop putting so much attention on what's going on. But what is actually going on? The Egyption president has been forced to step down. Arabs want Egypt to become Arabic. Hopes are that Egypt will remain an allie, but it unclear at this point. Reporters are still getting stories and putting them on the news obviously because we know they got attacked. Imagin this; if it wouldn't have been for reporters, news and TV we wouldn't even know there was anything going on Egypt. The government of Egypt has shut down cell phone service, television and internet for this very reason. People are being encouraged to go out in the streets and protest but if they can't use cell phones, television or the internet to tell other people to go out, this will hopefully slow things down.

Superbowl XLV
This article tells about the stats of these two Quarterbacks. It tells that Big Ben (Ben Roethlisberger), has a better record in the playoffs and superbowl but Aaron Rodgers is a better all around quarterback. This shows some evidence that Aaron Rodgers somewhat puts the team on his back, while Ben has been carried along. This article says that the packers will have the edge on the Sunday because of their amazing pass defense being ranked 5th in the leage with 30 interceptions in 19 games and the skill of Aaron Rodgers.
